We are thankful for our Baptist heritage and hold to the Baptist distinctives which are as follows.

The Bible is the only and final authority for all faith and practice (Rom. 10:17, II Tim. 3:14-17, II Pet. 1:2-4, 15-21).
Autonomy of the local church (I Tim. 3:14-15, Eph. 4:15-16, 5:22-33).
Priesthood of the believers (Acts 2:41, 47, Eph. 4:11-13).
Two ordinances - Baptism, Lord’s table (I Tim. 3:14-15, Eph. 4:15-16, 5:22-33)
Independent soul liberty (John 16:12-14, I John 2:27, Acts 5:29, Rom. 14:1-12, Gal. 5:1, 13, I Pet. 2:16)
Separation of church & state (Mat. 22:17-21, Rom. 13:1-7, Eph. 4:11-13, Acts 5:15-21, 5:22-32)
Two Offices - Pastor/Elder/Bishop, Deacon (I Tim. 3:1-16, Phile. 1:1)

We hold to the Fundamentals of the Faith as historically recognized.

The Bible is God's authoritative word (II Tim. 3:16-17, II Pet. 1:19-21).
Jesus Christ was born of a virgin (He is God in the flesh) (Isa. 7:13-14, Luke 1-2:40, Gal. 4:4).
Salvation comes by faith in Jesus Christ alone (Col. 2:8-9, Juan 1:1-11, Efe. 2:4-9)
Jesus Christ died, was buried and bodily rose again as the Scriptures had prophesied He would (Luke 24:1-8, 46-47, I Cor. 15:1-4).
Jesus Christ will return to this earth for the bodily rapture of the saints and His physical reign from the throne of David (Isa. 9:6-7, I Cor. 15:35-58, I Thes. 4:13-18).
